The Youth Ministry at Redeemer is based on Scripture which places a heavy emphasis on Covenant Theology in regard to the spiritual development of the youth within the body of Christ. Redeemer seeks to honor Christ and his word in that manner by having a focus on Covenant Theology. It shapes the way in which our Youth Ministry functions. It is a ministry which seeks to equip youth and their parents for a life in North Texas, in the 21st Century, that will glorify God. This is done through weekly youth group meetings, called WYGTs, as well as monthly activities either geared towards service in the church and outside community or fellowship activities designed to build and strengthen relationships. In addition to these regular meetings, we also go on an annual mission trip to Mexico, a youth camp each summer, a ski trip in 2005, as well as quarterly retreats with other area PCA churches.
