Our Vision
- Where do we expect the church to be in 10 years?
- In many ways it will look the same but with more people. We will continue to focus on God centered worship and education through Sunday School and Redeemer Day School. We expect that RPC will continue to grow in membership and community ministry. It is very probable that our congregation will number approximately 600 people in addition to frequent visitors. As such the growth of our ministry efforts would likewise expand in scope to accommodate an affiliated and credentialed pre-K through 6th school.
- What is the theme of the campaign?
- Growing by Grace. RPC has experienced growth by the work of the Holy Spirit alone. This growth has been "spiritual" as those that are already part of the body have grown deeper in their faith as God has poured out His grace on us. We have also experienced "numerical" growth as God has called more individuals to the church to hear the good news of grace. We, therefore, are all growing by grace spiritually and numerically.
- Why are these additions necessary?
- The additions have become necessary as RPC has expanded its outreach within the area of Craig Ranch through Evangelism Explosion and Redeemer Day School, as well as the Hope Resource Center of McKinney. The subsequent response of people to the outreach of our church has expanded the number of people that desire to worship at RPC
- What will we build with this money?
- We plan to build a 9,200 square foot Continuing Education (CE) wing that will provide much needed administrative office space, eight additional classrooms, an oversized reception area (secondary Narthex), and one-car covered drop-off. Additionally, we will be expanding our current sanctuary area to accommodate a projected worship service capacity of approximately 500 people with corresponding parking.
- How long will construction take?
- It will take approximately 18 months before all of Phase 2 design and construction would be completed.
- During planning and construction, where will Redeemer meet?
- It is our plan to continue to meet in our current facilities until we expand the sanctuary. However, if a temporary solution is necessary, we are prepared to erect a large tent for services. This would allow us to stay on-site and would only be necessary for 3-4 weeks in Oct. 2009 while the sanctuary construction was being completed.
- How much will the additions cost?
- The additions will cost approximately $2.1 million to finish out and furnish: Continuing Education wing approximately $1.4 million; sanctuary expansion approximately $580,000; and parking lot expansion approximately $100,000.

Our Commitment to the Vision
- Am I going to be pressured to give money?
- No. The campaign title of Growing by Grace speaks to the very intention and understanding behind our efforts. As recipients of abundant grace, we are convicted to give back generously that which we have generously received. It is the hope of the Session that each member and family at RPC will search their hearts to understand how they might fully respond to this call by giving sacrificially of their time, talents and treasure to the work of God being carried out by this church.
- Why should I give money to the campaign if we currently have no debt and the church actually has a surplus?
- This campaign is not about how much money you can give. It is about demonstrating our understanding as believers of the richness and abundance of grace that we have received from our Father in Heaven. When we understand what we have received why wouldn't we want to give back to others in a manner that glorifies God and spreads the truth and hope that is found in His son Jesus the Christ? RPC is dedicated to demonstrating this understanding and sharing it with the world.
