Curtis and Cindy were married in 1989 and have three children: Carrigan, Chandler, and Clayton who is married to Abby (they resides in Lincoln, Nebraska). Curtis and Cindy are also blessed with two grandchildren.

The Blagburn’s have worshiped at Redeemer since 1997.  They’ve found it a joy to watch the congregation grow from a few families at the Holiday Inn to a big family of believers in our beautiful facility in Craig Ranch. Curtis was called to the Diaconate in 1999 and enjoys serving and meeting the needs of the families of Redeemer and the community of McKinney.

Curtis has been a Science Teacher for more than 30 years and is currently in his 25th year at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Texas. Some of the things he enjoys is: hunting, camping, and being outdoors with his family and friends.


Deacon Bob Burgess


Bob and his family have been members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church since its inception (1996). He and his wife Kelley have four children, whom they raised in this church.

The Burgess’ are grateful their children, now young adults, are still growing in their Christian walk today. Bob works at an IT firm in Plano and serves on the Board at Shiloh Place.

His hobbies include growing peaches when he’s not in lengthy diaconate meetings.

Deacon Greg Lewis


Greg has been married to his lovely bride, Brittany for 18 years and they’ve been blessed by God with three children ages 8-14. The Lewis’ have been members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church since 2007 where Greg feels extremely blessed to serve as a deacon since February 2014.

Greg has been on the Board of Directors at Redeemer Day School (a ministry of RPC) since 2009, and has also been serving as a Board member at HOPE Women’s Center since February 2013.

Greg loves the encouragement and support of covenant community believers at RPC, but especially that the WORD is preached each and every week and the reminder of God’s grace and mercy unconditionally showered on us. He desires to love the saints well wherever he can.

On Greg’s current reading list is: Surprised by Grace, God’s Relentless Pursuit of Rebels by Tullian Tchividjian.

A couple verses Greg is currently memorizing are: “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him.” (Nahum 1:7, ESV) and “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16, ESV)



Deacon Ty Wheeler

DEACON (Chairman)

Ty is married to Kim and they have four children. The Wheeler’s have been members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church since October 2010 where Ty has served as a deacon since January 2014. Ty works at Brinker International in the IT Department.

His spiritual gifts include mercy and teaching and has taught High School Sunday School several times as well as served in communion preparation, and assisted with The Table.

Ty is grateful for our pastors who preach the Gospel and hold to sound doctrine. He’s also grateful for the community of believers at RPC, and how people care for one another.

Some of his favorite series are Chronicles of Narnia and the Lord of the Rings. In his spare time, Ty enjoys reading, being active outside, and a sports fan.

One of Ty’s favorite passages is, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, and his favorite book of the Bible is Ezra.
